NHS Volunteer Responders
The NHS Volunteer Responders scheme aims to recruit 250,000 volunteers in good health to help with non-clinical tasks such as patient transport, delivering prescriptions and keeping in contact with people isolating at home. We now understand that this scheme will also seek to recruit volunteers to support adult social care, and we are currently working with Government to ensure that this is clear in all future national communications. Members of the public can sign up quickly and easily at goodsamapp.org/NHS
